Scholars Portal & Borealis: Services unavailable June 28-30

    Due to an upcoming planned power shutdown at the University of Toronto, ALL Scholars Portal and Borealis services and websites will be temporarily unavailable from Sunday, June 28 at 10 p.m. EDT until Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. EDT.

     

    The OCUL website, SPOTDocs wiki, Nextcloud file storage system, user guides, and Scholars Portal Forms website will also be unavailable during this time.

     

    Additionally, messages sent to scholarsportal.info, borealisdata.ca, and scholaris.ca email addresses during the outage will experience delays in delivery.

    Access to all library websites is now restored.

    Some U of T Libraries websites are currently unavailable while we respond to a required security update.

    The duration of the outage is not yet known.

    The following websites and services may be affected: Keep @ Downsview, East Asian Library, Canada Hong Kong Library, Map & Data Library, PJRC, Rare Book Orders, Samizdat, Tools.library, UTARMS, UTM Library, and UTSC Library. Related services that depend on Tools may also be affected, including some digital signs, the APC Browser tool, and Fisher's Archival Collections Finding Aids and Pring & Manuscript Collections.

    The main library website, LibrarySearch, and Ask Chat are not expected to be affected.
