Collections U of T will undergo scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, August 4th at 8:30 p.m. The expected maintenance period is from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. During this time, you will not be able to use the search page. Other functionality on the site will also be degraded. The site's functionality should be restored by Wednesday, August 5th. Due to a planned power shutdown at the University of Toronto, all locally-hosted U of T Libraries websites and a number of digital collections and repositories will be unavailable from Sunday June 28th at 10pm (EDT) to June 30th at 11am (EDT). This includes:  

• The main library website 

• Library subsites and microsites 

• Student jobs portal 

• Locker and carrel applications 

• Scholaris/T-Space 

• Exhibits U of T 

• Discover Archives 

• Collections U of T 

• Ask a Librarian Chat

• MyMedia 

All Scholars Portal and Borealis services will be temporarily unavailable during the shutdown period. The OCUL and Scholars Portal websites, SPOTDocs wiki, Nextcloud file storage system, user guides, and Scholars Portal Forms website will also be unavailable during this time. 

Additionally, messages sent to email addresses ending in scholarsportal.info, borealisdata.ca, and scholaris.ca during this period will experience delays in delivery. 

Available services:

Users will still be able to access some services, including 

• Searching the library catalogue and looking up e-resources with LibrarySearch 

• Accessing research guides 

• My Account 

• Booking study spaces 

• Registering for workshops and events 

Please note that Robarts Library, the Fisher Library, the Bissell Building and Robarts Common buildings will be fully shut down and closed to all staff and users from Monday, June 29th 5:00am EDT to Tuesday, June 30 5:00am EDT.
